[B]Thank you Roady for all the information you have posted here. I was wondering does anyone know the name of Janis' dog in the picture. I've seen other pictures of the same dog before on some of the CD's I have and was wondering?....cg.....

According to the NY Times the dog's name is "Pumpkin" but I'd take a bet was called "Punkin" by Janis.

June 14-17th, 1968. Besides the convergence of a world class cross section of Jazz talent such as Duke Ellington, Billy Taylor, Art Farmer, Hugh Masakela and Jimmy Heath, fans were treated to Pete Seeger, Janis Ian, and others at the annual Madison Avenue street fair and drug rehabilitation benefit event that is still gong strong after 35 years
