Spill it already! I was wishing I was there as I was at a Blue's Traveler Concert... I was wishing it could have been the Janis Ian concert. She probably would have worried I was stalking her if that had happened as I have shown up all over... But still.

Now somebody spill it before I go crazy!

Whenever I see Janis I feel like a stalker. And the harder I try to be normal, the worse it seems to get. Saw something on Oprah about how our brains are wired to feel like we know people we recognize, and that explains some of the weirdness when we see a celebrity, or someone we admire. It makes me happy that Janis appreciates her fans collectively, and I hope she enjoys some of the attention. I'm sure she knows how we feel about her, and that's a good thing. She has taught me how to recognize and express my own feelings in such an elegant way through her work. She makes me think. I think she's great too. I got to have dinner with her; sat to her right and lost all ability to speak any language. But it was fun!

Elliot, if that was Saturday, we need more info! What songs did she do? Any new ones? Was the house packed; did she get a good reception? Did anyone mention it was her birthday? What were the other artists like? Did she stay to meet fans at the end? Were there other Rudies there; did you meet them? Paint a picture, please!
