Hello everyone,
It was not my intention to be away from posting however, another event has occured in my life. This past weekend, when I was hoping to get caught up on my rest, there were some family issues that arose. My weekend was full of kids and grandkids...and, at 12:20 am Sunday morning, March 18th...I took my daughter Heather to the hospital with contractions. She was scheduled for a C-section for her third child for April 3rd....well, at 3:18 in the morning, on 3-18-07, we became grandparents again! Our daughter and baby girl are doing well and will be coming to our house today from the hospital. My daughters family lives on the third floor of an apartment complex and she can't do the stairs right now, so I will continue to get Hunter off to school each morning, take Chase to preschool and stay at home with my daughter and baby. The particulars on the baby are as follows: Name: Chloe Ellizabeth, 17" long, 6lbs 5oz. Chloe has brown hair and brown eyes like her brother Hunter and we all think she looked like her brother Chase when he was born. I haven't talked to Randy in a couple of days but my Mom says that he is doing well with his routine so I will try to call him soon. Take care everyone and I will do better at keeping in touch by next week.

Well done, Granny :) Sections are not pleasant. Catherine was a Christmas Present I couldn't open myself (Boxing Day) 17 years ago, the photo's got damaged but all things said, she was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen :) and I still wouldn't have swapped that for the world

mazel Tov! :d
Hey, where has my post gone? I was the first one to congratulate!
Mazal Tov! Grandma Becky!
Mimi
Congrats, Mazel Tov, Slainte, Skoal, and all that Jazz!!
New babies are pretty exciting, aren't they? I had a friend who had 5(!)
Caesarians, and all her children had very perfect heads, unlike my kids, at birth. I even asked the doctor what was the matter with my first son's head, as the forehead was dramatically sloped...He retorted with, "you haven't seen many newborns, have you?"
(As a matter of fact, I had NEVER seen a newborn baby up to that time!)
So enjoy them all! Be sure and let the older ones know that you'd much rather be talking to them, but the little one needs your attention, darn it.
That will take away much of the jealousy that comes with babies...they will feel like the little intruder is pretty helpless, and by the time they think too hard about it, baby will be an integrated part of the family.

Congrats Grandma! Grandchildren are fun aren't they when you have had enough back to Mommy they go. She sounds like a short, cute little brown eyed beauty! Have fun Grandma.

Congratulations! Sounds like much better knews, though still hectic. Hope you finally do get caught up on your rest soon! Chloe is the same length as I was when I was born! Hope everything continues to go smoothly. Good to hear from you, as always. And don't worry, we're always glad when you can hop in for a post, but we definitely understand when life gets hectic!

Thank you all. Chloe is beautiful and her older brothers, Chase who is going to be 4 in June and Hunter who is 8 are being a great help. They are being allowed to help with the baby and when they need or want their time to themselves, that too is okay. I have spent each afternoon playing "Pokemon" via our imagination out in the backyard with Chase and pitching the ball to Hunter so he can hit it with a baseball bat. These boys are awesome! We love them so very much. Both boys have very good manners and behaviour that they are a joy to be around. They keep us young but wear us out! Chloe makes grandchild number 6! Our grandkids range in ages from Hunter 8, Timmy 7, Libby 6 (via marriage) Chase 3 1/2, Joseph 2 1/2 and Chloe 4 days old. As Chase would say "TAAA DAAAA"!
I'll be in touch soon.

Congratulations Becky!
Friend of mine had a caeserian. Horrible, she said. But indeed, her baby had a beautifully shaped head. He still does.
Bat, I believe that children who are born in a regular way are usually have a splitting headache. Can you imagine your head being stuck on your way out of there? *shudder* A person could get claustrophobic!

Hm. I was guessing you were in your late 20's. No, I'm not kidding.
Congratulations on the new grandchild. I've forgotton how many I have now. Let's see...depending on how you count...either 4 or 11. I mean 5 or 12.
