For Janis. The Brighton concert was stunning!

Janis, A friend and I went to your Brighton concert yesterday evening and we were both bowled over. I had seen you in concert, for the first time ever, at Haywards Heath last year and had a ball, so this year brought along the friend who had introduced me to your music in the 70's (we used to sob over, and feel consoled by, your songs together!). I was again totally impressed with your abilities as a songwriter, musician, performer and, most importantly, with your genuineness and humanity which absolutely shine through. My friend was completely blown away, spent the entire hour and a bit of the drive home saying, "She is AMAZING!!!, She is WONDERFUL!!!" etc etc etc. It seems a shame for all that positive energy, both from the 70's and the 06's, to drift off into the night on the M23 without you ever knowing about it - hence this post :) Thank you, from the heart, from two of us who owe you a lot from our angst-ridden youth and who yesterday had the best of all possible evenings.

I was in brighton too just for Janis with my fiance...

He saw her in Paris at the hotel du Nord, I wasn't there, so we decided to spend 2 days in UK just for the show, it was wonderful, I spoke to her at the end of the show just to telle her how great it was and to have an autograph !!!

The show was really wonderful, the best I have ever seen...
She was perfect, and I cried a lot when she sang "Joy", I was too happy to be there with my fiance...
