Well, we were with Janis till about 11:30 pm after the Brighton show. She said they would be up at 6:00 this morning to drive to Newcastle for tomorrow evening's show at Gateshead (PeteCC will be there).

Anna from Dublin also left bright and early this morning (6:20 a.m.) to make it for the 1:00 pm ferry.

Strech and Joanne left around 8:30 am. Anne and gang left about 10:00 a.m. and Rowy drove Marjan and I to the train station around 10:15 a.m. Marjan got off the train at Gatwick and I got off at the next stop at East Croydon.

As you can probably guess by now, I am back where there is Internet access - at my friend's apartment in London. I sent a text message to both Rowy and Anne to tell them I've arrived. Anne replied that they're still about an hour from Nottingham (DavidUK's home) and another 2 hours from Manchester. From Manchester, PeteCC drives back to Newcastle (where he'll see Janis tomorrow evening).

For the record, Janis and I compared palm sizes (there's photographic evidence) and we come up even!

I also brought back the bottle of decaf coffee that Janis made a mug of coffee from (but not the mug she used or the spoon she stirred the coffee with).
