"It may be cold outside, but things are heating up with Musikfest, as rapper Ludacris, country stars Big & Rich, songstress Petula Clark and ’60s rockers The Yardbirds have been confirmed for the Aug. 3-12 festival."

The first 4 of somewhere in the range od 300 artists or groups have been announced...I wouldn't mind seeing Petula Clark or the Yardbirds....

We saw Pet Clark a few years ago at a local (very local, we can walk there) festival. Very enjoyable. I love those 60's tunes. Brings back a lot of memories!

Hey, Marcia m'luv! Wouldn't it be great to have Janis play a gig at the Taste of Blue Ash Festival stage? She would be sure to go over in a big way in this hotbed of Republican idiocy!! (I stand by that judgement...we have 'Mean Jean' Schmidt for our Representative in the House.:eek:, thanks to a shamefully gerrymandered district. )
I'm sure Janis would shake them to their very cores...and I'm also sure that there are enough sane people around who would make sure she didn't get lynched and who would really appreciate her as we do. It would be an event, for sure...not to be missed.
