anyone know if Janis will be playing in Nashville this year

Just wondering if Janis will be playing any local clubs for fun ? Does anyone know? i would fly to Nashville for any event.i might even walk if my truck stops running. How can i go a year without ? i would even Pay for a web concert . Just wondering .

I don't think Janis has any gig plans this year. At least none that she has shared with any of us. Still, if it were on the right Saturday night, we might also join ya. Having said that.....she IS taking that needed time off and may be starting on her autobiography any minute now.......!

maybe if we booked a club someone might show up and play. in dont think i can last a whole year without a live Janis singing to me. this will be tough im starting to get the shakes allready. and No Party at Janis house we overstayed our welcome last time . sometime in the late spring or early fall would be good for me. im packed and ready to go . Janis dont mind us we are just in the planning stages. Just wishfull thinking on my part. see ya soon

I'll be visiting Nashville (though not to see Janis). I'll be with a friend, but if there's a show anytime around when I go I'm sure my friend and I will go.

However she did say she would take a substantial break, so it may simply not be possible.

Great idea, Mike. Wish I had the money to do that :D I prefer the alternative, eg making lots of copies of the album for me to listen to so that the original stays preserved :) I then just play the copies
