Soooo....I had a really good Christmas and I hope you all had a good one too.

So I had a day off today to sort out my central heating boiler (only a mere £506 for a scrappy little printed circuit board - we're all victims!)

Driving down from my ex-wife's home in Selby, suddenly on the wireless (and not wireless wi-fi, my car radio still has valves! no it doesn't, but I wish it did......I had one that really Did!!) Janis came on with a song - two songs actually from a programme insert called "Tracks of My Years."

Janis talked about the influence Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones had affected on her musical development. (how very posh and arty - not Janis...Me:) ) Janis was saying how the song and the guitar riff on "Satisfaction" had affected her.

I agree - nothing can be more sterile than a 'too perfect' performance.

It was great.

Meanwhile...I'm constructing my own radio station via Yahoo......Jan' is the Star:) :)

Merry Christmas

Merlin
