Thank you so much for the holiday sale! It will be hard to wait until next year when again you will bless us with all the goodies at an unbelievable low price. I am starting to save right now.
I went to the site and it was sad to see all the Christmas stuff gone. Can't wait until next year!
Thanks Janis, Happy New Year!

Good evening...
Yes Darlene it is sad to see the sale is over.... Thank you Janis & Staff.... Darwoods look at the bright side... As you wait for next years sale you will have plenty of company and you know other special things happen here besides just the sale....Or at least have in the past and as Janis isn't going to be touring I suspect they will again.... I won't go into detail other then to suggest that you keep an eye on the counter when you log on located at the bottom of the home page.... Meanwhile we are glad your here and enjoying the website and lunacy as much as we are....
Have a wonderful Holiday Darlene...

Hi Randy and Betty, well I am keeping an eye on the counter as I log in. I don't know what I am looking for but I am watching it. :D LOL And this morning it wasn't there I hope that didn't mean anything, if it did I missed it.

Darwoods, Darwoods, thank you SOOOO much!
What a fantastic experience I've had!!! So great that I'm even thinking of going to Nashville for next year's sale!!
I talked to the gals this afternoon, and here's what I heard........
- They were on their way to Xmas dinner. En route, they were dropping off the 34 orders that came in during the last three days. Course, they couldn't drop off the foreign orders, but Janis went ahead and filled them Christmas Eve afternoon anyhow.
- The sale went SOOOO well that they've decided to keep a lot of the prices as low for the rest of the year!!!!!
- I don't have any exact figures yet, but I'm told that even though this year's sale was three or four weeks shorter than last year's, with the sale of the two guitars (yep, they're sold!!!!!), we've beat last year's receipts by at least five thousand dollars. Of course, as I pointed out to my sister-in-law, that can't go on. You can't make more every single year, and she's got to be prepared for that. But that doesn't mean she shouldn't stop and enjoy the sweet smell of meadow grass in the morning!!!!!
- Pat (who deals with the escrow account) tells me that the Pearl Foundation had an absolutely stunning year, largely due to the six living room concerts Janis performed, but also because of the generosity of fans with the tip jar and merchandise purchases.
What an exciting time we've had!!! And how proud I am to have been a small part of this success!!!
I'll try to keep checking in over the next month, but I'm sure you'll all get the full scoop when Janis does her monthly update.

Well Judy, I don't know about the Hat or the Hair but you do have a Big heart, I can tell! I hope I can get some of the stuff if it continues for awhile longer. I am pretty poor but I am blessed I am blessed in so may ways. I can't wait to get a chance to meet Janis or you. I know she will be tied up writing her book this year but maybe sometime in the future. Take care and thanks again for all the hard work you put into the sale.;)
That is all good news Judy!

Judy: thanks again for everything.
I'm new to this mb and this whole sale has really impressed me a lot.
To receive all these great cds and dvds and other items, to be able to get a card from Janis...It was all a great Christmas gift.
To think Janis and Pat and you and others are all working this hard to make money for the Pearl foundation, even made it all more impressive to see.
Ive spent the last days preparing for Christmas, decorating the tree etc while listening to all new music I all of a sudden had, and this has really made this Christmas special.
Thank you again,
Mieke

Judy,
thank you for your help, i'm sure the whole crew was grateful for your help. tho it may be true that Janis can't expect an increase every year...knowing us rudies i think it is very possible that it will grow every year. i know i got 5 people who never ordered from the sale to order this year and that wasn't even withing my family!
it's a great sale! it's a great cause! and no matter if the sale is on or not, it is always a pleasure buy merch from Janisian.com
