Hello all!
I just wanted to check in for a moment, and wish everyone a happy holiday. We had a great Chanukah, and we're both looking forward to opening the rest of the presents Christmas morning.
The Pearl Foundation looks like it's going to have a banner year. More to report in the January update, after the sale is over and we've run all the numbers. But so far, it looks like a record year, thanks to you all!!!
We are well. Having Judy's help has been a real God-send (as it were), taking the load off Pat and me in terms of tracking orders and making sure all goes smoothly. There ain't nothin' like family, as they say.
Pat is actually taking 4 days off this weekend, hasn't brought any work home. Today we both took a 90 minute nap! That's great, because I'm still having trouble adjusting from Netherlands time; believe it or not, I'm waking up at 4.30 in the morning every day, except when I wake up earlier... Hopefully, tonight I'll manage to stay up until 11 pm, and get back on a US schedule.
I wish all of you the best of holiday seasons, the best of the New Year, health and happiness for all time.

Thank you Janis....hope you have your body clock all straightened out before tomorrow so the day can seem somewhat normal. It was truly a pleasure for Joyce and I to see you in Pittsburgh as we celebrated 10 years together. We look forward to your book.

We wish you, Pat and your families and staff a satisfying and healthy new year!

A blessed holiday to you and yours Janis....and thank you, as always, for sharing so much with us all. Let the feasts and the gifts commence!

Isn't there some sort of Dutch equivalent to that infamous Icelandic aquavit? That should reset your body clock without difficulty. Reset SOMETHING, at least.

And a very merry Christmas to you. Ah, the luxury of time enough to take a nap and visit with the one you love...it doesn't get much better than that!
