I stand corrected by John - the sale will end at 12 midnight Greenwich Mean Time, not Central Time!
Though frankly, I don't know why they won't just go with Texas time as I suggested.

Is Texas time different from Central Time? Bigger, or something like that?

Judy

None of us in the US, other than those who have served in our military, have a clue what GMT is so I guess we better get those orders in on Friday :)

Here's a good site for GMT:
http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/
As you can see, GMT is 6 hours earlier than Central.
That means for once, John gets to have Christmas Eve with his family!!!

if i am not totally off base, greenwich is in england. so if ya know what time it is in england then you know what greenwich mean time is :) if ya don't, call someone there and ask them if it is midnight yet :). or, get your orders in early and let's give Janis and her whole crew a break

Well I'm going to have do SOMETHING about getting some of the goodies from Next Year's Sale. I was totally unprepared for this year (again)!!!! When I lived in London, we used to take our dogs to Greenwich Park and I have even touched the marker which marks the spot for Greenwich Mean Time :p :) Happy Christmas to you all :D

I think folks in Europe have it a bit easier with GMT since many countries use 24 hour time on train/bus/airplane schedules and the like. We Americans get a bit confused with that entire "hundred hours" thing. For some reason it's never caught on here except with amateur radio operators and some medical personnel.

yeah seems you only hear the 'hundred hour" in the military. i kinda like it, i never get my am's and pm's mixed up. and goodness knows had a lot of laughs with it while watching MASH

And Star Trek!

Star Trek always had that delightful "Stardate 21397.6" or similar. I often wonder if they had time periods that every came out evenly. And if people of the Star Trek era reminisce by saying: "yes....I remember back in .4---you kids think you have it tough now, well, I'm telling you...."
