Isn't it just amazing that when you deal with Janis Ian and crew you always get more than you expected? Just got my order today - not only was the service faster than I had expected, but I noticed a couple of extra items tossed in as I fished my stuff out of the envelope.

It's no wonder you have such a loyal fan base, Janis - you offer us such consideration that we can't help but respect you.

Thanks, once again.
Judy

Judy you are so right. I am not really sure what I was more excited about . .
getting my order or seeing what else was in the package. It does make it fun.

I couldn't agree more, Judy.
Not only are the prices in this sale insane (2.95 for a cd????) but to be able to ask Janis to sign a cd or photograph and then the extra gift..

It's just amazing to see this, and I'm extremely happy with the package since it arrived!!

This isn't a sale, this is a gift Janis gives to her fans at Christmas.;)

I agree Judy! I received my first two packages last Saterday (it included the two pairs of jeans and blouses :D ) and it was great to find the signed cards into it.

I am new here and you guys are so kind and blessed. I ordered a Between The Lines CD and the sheet music for "At Seventeen". I received it really fast! I was so happy with the CD that replaced an eight-track I had way back when. I didn't even know you could get an autograph I was just so happy to get the music. Maybe I will get to see Janis sometime (not) and get her to sign it then. Really I am happy to have gotten my CD. I hope it doesnt wear out too soon because of the way I am playing it and singing along. I even listen to it as I go to sleep. It is a great idea to have such wonderful sale right here during the Christmas Season! Thank you Janis! ;)

Darwoods, if you want them signed, just send them, along with an SASE, to:
PO Box 121255

along with the request. You can just send the booklet! I'm happy to send them back to you, signed.

Judy, Bat and I got "extras" as well. We really thought we had someone else's order until Kimbe clarified it. We should never be surprised at Janis' incredible generosity! It made our day and then some!

Marcia :)

Came home today and found a big envelope in my mailbox. Live on the Test 1976 is more than ten rare live Janis Ian recordings, it's a basketful of gems. Diamonds, I believe.

Technically excellent remastering and the songs surprisingly intimate for live recordings.

THANK YOU again my secret Santa, whoever you may be. You have cheered and warmed my heart beyond measure.

Well it's five days till Christmas today and another early present arrived, this time at my boyfriend Jimmy's (it actually came Monday).

We just finished watching the My Life interview segment on the Club Cafe DVD which he'd not seen before. (Marjan had generously sent me both DVDs years ago, but this one always got stuck on track 4 so it will be good to see the whole show uninterrupted now.)

As soon as he gets out of the shower we'll watch that together.

Just all part of my subversive plot to convert him to Rudieism. *cue wicked laughing* :p

Dee and Jimmy, and good luck to you, Dee, converting him! ;)

My first convert was my partner Rachel and my mom, then at least a dozen of colleagues and friends followed and will still follow on X-Mas eve... :)

But it's quite easy over here in Germany where hardly anybody knows Janis and her music. The miracle of the year for me...

Today I got an email from a girlfriend living in Berlin and she was the first one who already knew her but hasn't got any CDs... I just started to help her out...

Oh, isn't this marvelous? I'm going to make a few people very very happy :)

Thank you, Janis, for taking the time to sign the CDs to my friends and thank you for the extra goodies! I love them!

Thanks Mimi,

I'm doing my best. Unfortunately part II of today's subversive plot was put on hold when apartment hunting business (mine) and Christmas shopping (his) took over. Another day.

I'm home now and listening to my shiny new Revenge CD under headphones. Heaven for the ears!

How fun that you have a whole fresh batch of Janis Ian virgins to convert to Rudieism. :D

Janis, does that go for stuff I've bought over the year after your concert in April too??? I can't possibly bring all THAT to the next one, and I still haven't finished. I found second hand Revenge and Janis Ian II as I was waiting for the doors to open, in The Record Shak, went back the following Saturday to claim them, and found 4 old vinyl of yours. They'll be awkward to carry to the next concert without losing things on the way.
