forgive this craddle catholic tho who must ( end i do mean must, this is not something i do by choice) remind folks that the immaculate conception has nothing to do with mary getting pregnant but with mary;s mother becoming pregnant with her the only humanbeing born of parents with the stain of eve to be BORN without sin. let me clarify...the act of sex is not the sin for mary's parents 'did it' to conceive her yet she (mary) was born sinless. forgive me, i couldn't help it

Thanks for the clarification, Hoops, I escaped my Lutheran upbringing and became a Unitarian/Pagan, so my Catholic theology/doctrine is pretty much non-existent.
