Janis often speaks of “serving” her songs. I hope I have done that through this simple three minute video of my song Born of the Light which I’ve uploaded to YouTube to share with my friends a week before Christmas.

Tho I wrote it some 20 years ago, this is the version I performed last December with my friend Kathy at the National Arts Centre for a fund raiser for the Ottawa Food Bank.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Now it's time to wrap up a pair of socks for my ex Ken, because even an ex should have warm feet. ;)

Daniel that's beautiful, and such a gorgeous voice :)

My favourite song of yours is still Man In the Moon, with the delightful video you made to go with it.

Thanks, folks. Glad you liked it.

Cashmere scarf, eh? Gee I dunno, I think I'm too lowbrow for something that rich. ;)

I credit the pack-a-day smoking, despite the objections of friends and doctors. :p

But seriously Dee, such flattering comments! Someone somewhere once said it's not nice to object to compliments, so I'll say just Thank You for thinking them and for putting them into words.

PS: Lest any newcomers think I'm talking to myself here, Ace is our female Dee Rudie.

No, really she is.

Yes, YouTube is the perfect forum for amateurs like me, Mark.

Thanks for the compliments Ben and Mark. That's high praise coming from a talent such as yours! I'm all discombobulated now. LOL :D

Happy Holidays to you and yours,

Dee/Daniel

Daniel, we may have had our differences in the past, and I'm soooooo sorry about that, but that's really nice. I've only been back around for the best part of a year. You do come up with some really nice stuff. Thanks, Daniel. Have a Happy Christmas and a 'Guid New Year' and don't drink TOO much at Hogmanay
