View Full Version : Question re: JIMB "status" or classification

I'm just wondering how much longer I will be classified as "New to the board." I would have thought that by now I'd have earned the handle "Been around a bit" at LEAST! I mean, geez, I have a window seat on the bus, doesn't that count for something??

Just out of curiosity, how are these classifications determined? Number of posts? Start date of membership? Anyone know?

Yours in prideful JIMB membership,

Matthew your status changes based on the number of posts you make.
I think it changes again around 80-100 but I dont quite remember.

But no worries - we know who you are and love you for that alone!

...I'd better start start voicing my thoughts on here more often!

Just wanted to add that my people come from Wales originally. I look forward to making a trip over there one day and investigating my roots.

All the best,

I rather wish that the post counts had survived the transfer from the "old" board. Dee and JoelT, after all, had counts more than worthy of bragging about!

...cuz I was classified as "Been around a bit" on the previous board! Oh well. At least now I'm motivated to post on here more often instead of holding my tongue (or keeping my fiingers in check, as it were).

Cheers,

I do believe one was Been around since The Flood. Can't recall if I ever reached that status or not.

"Been around a bit"--fifty or so posts

Then I think it increases by increments of fifty, though I'm not sure.

Actually, it depends on post count - but don't post a lot just to change your title, because that's considered spamming.
It also depends on John's mood that week...
