I like the Queen, Cardiffgal. Many however do not. Not sure why exactly. I find her a strong and intelligent person. She had no choice really in taking on the job. Personally, I think she handles her position with kindness toward people and with great class. If she can survive the antics of the kids, she will probably live as long as her mother the Queen Mum (http://www.royal.gov.uk/output/Page1011.asp) did. who lived to the noble old age of 101!

I have always thought the queen was more popular in commonwealth countries, rather than in her native country of Germany:D

I too like the Queen, i mean crap, tshe's had much longer to mess up her kingdom than Bush has ours and she's kept it and her head [retty much together even with children like hers who actually enjoy being public screw ups. but truely, i think she is a good lady.
