Have now listened to several of these. Some of the presenters are just awful. Obviously have been suppled with hardly any info. on Janis & tend to pick up on one thing & go off on a tangent about a non Janis topic!
No wonder they love it when we have snow in their region & they can just sit & read an endless list of School, Road & knitting club closures!
Makes you realise just how good the Terry Wogans of this world are.

Just listened to Janis on BBC Radio London. Fantastic!

Janis did Danger Danger & My Autobiography, which were out of this world.:)

LOL Des you neat me to it!

I actually looked at the studio webcam but all you could see was Janis's shoulder and the end of her guitar LOL

Janis was great but the interviewer wasn't . He didn't pick up on 'My Autobiography ' being a self putdown & had difficulty forming a question & finishing it

I'm sure you all know but you can hear them all through BBC's web site regardless of where you live

well interviewers come in all shapes and sizes plus they may not all be familiar with janis before she is invited on the show, but at least he had listened to FINB and shared a sense of humour with janis... all coverage is good coverage:)

All the presenters have received CD, bio material, website info. And to be fair to them, I'm just one of dozens they do each day. I've been pretty happy with almost all of them.

For texting me that it was on. By the time I got tuned in I'd missed "My Autobiography" but heard Danger Danger and loved the relaxed chat and banter at the end. How could he not say "I love you" ???
:D

Thanks Wes for reminding me about that, had forgotten.......

Wonder if you can listen to old shows, like from yesterday?

Carrie on posting, you are doing a great job.

Will sit down and listen to some of them. I looked at one of the website for the BBC stations and it gave the wrong title for the latest album...

Despite being in England, I've not listened to any of the local radio interviews. Quite interesting that I get to listen in more when I'm at home 10,000km away. Ha ...

This was also very good. I think the interviewer was already a fan & knew what Janis was all about.
