Racist party selects "ethnic" candidate

"The British National party was riven last night over its decision to select the grandson of an asylum seeker to fight a seat in next month's local elections.
Sharif Abdel Gawad, whom the BNP describes as a "totally assimilated Greek-Armenian", was chosen to stand in a Bradford ward as part of the party's biggest ever electoral push.

The decision has provoked a backlash among BNP hardliners who described Mr Gawad as an "ethnic" who should be barred from the party on race grounds. One regional organiser responsible for the candidate's selection is thought to be under pressure to resign. Another regional organiser is leading the dissent against the party leadership, saying it had betrayed the members and would confuse voters"

the one consoling factor is that extreme parties never get into parliament here in the UK- tho the BNP are waging their biggest ever campaign in the coming local elections

I think "Society's Child" should be compulsory listening for every voter.

How hysterically pathethic! Glad to hear they never get elected to Parliament. It reminds of something that happened here in the states several years ago, when David Duke, a leader of the Ku Klux Klan was running for governor (I think) against an incumbent who was under indictment for some malfeasance. Bumper stickers appeared aroud the state (I think it was Mississippi, if I am wrong someone correct me - I know it was in the deep south) that said: "Vote for the crook - it's important!" Duke lost.

Sometimes the lesser of two evils is the best you can hope for.

The BNP Party! What an inept, misinformed elitist bunch of hypocrites.

The BNP member:

The one who chants racial attacks at black footballers playing for a rival English club to that of their own, and then proceeds to cheer them on when England are playing an international match.

The one who slams the number of Asian corner shops, then thinks nothing of buying a six pack of beer, as it’s the only place open after 10.00pm.

The one who calls Indian people ‘rag heads’ yet thinks nothing of ordering an Indian curry take out and devouring every last mouth full.

The one who questions why all cab drivers are Asian after a night out on the beer and then finds that the only ones available at 4.00am in the morning are in fact Asian cab drivers.

The one whose child needs a kidney donor and the only suitable donor available is from an Asian person. Funnily enough, the surgeon who performs the transplant is also Asian.
