Pammy was last in touch with me via snail mail some time ago--I think I passed a summary along then. At the time, Wal-Mart had cut her hours and salary and she'd had to drop her internet service for a while. She believed she was about to get her hours back, however, and expected to be back online "shortly". Haven't heard a word since, alas. I've been a bit worried as well.

If any of you who know her would like her snail mail address, please contact me privately and I'll get it off to you right away.

Yeah but Dave... Do you think she is allright with it that you give people her address? I mean.. I don't think I would feel good about it if people gave out my address / e-mailaddress / telephonenumber without asking me first. Are you instead willing to write her on behalf of the people on the MB? Tell her people worry about her well-being. And then maybe ask her first if it's allright to give her address to people?

I am not trying to correct you or something. I hope you don't see it as such. But I feel very strongly about these things. Has to do with privacy and discretion for me. And in a way, maybe safety. I can imagine there are a lot of people on this MB you haven't met yet. I think the net is a place to be carefull. I am not saying that the people who visit this MB are not okay people. But it is kind of a public place.

I'm sure Dave would use the utmost discretion. I'm with you, I wouldn't want my address given to just anybody without my okay. I do trust that anybody I have given it to would not just randomly give it to others though.

She's fine with me passing her address along to people who have known her from the board. I am just not comfortable posting it publicly, hence my request that anyone who wants to get in touch with her contact me privately.
