I have just been listening to Janis Ian Rarieties and it just blows my mind away. Such exellent choice of songs, fantastic sound, Janis Ian voice her melodies and talent at it´s best......just perfect, you must be a pro cause what I have in my hand is a gem. I think it should be released and made available to everyone, I think it would be a hit.

Listening to it stirred up some emotional feelings that only a Janis Ian music can do. Thank you Kathleen for presenting this gift to me, Janis Ian Rarieties is just out of this world.

In time when things start to cool down in my end of the world it would be nice to know some background stories about some of the songs. Again Kathleen THANK YOU.

So much we know that Janis is a genious but the songs that you have chosen and how you arrange them together is just perfect. You have a beginning a middle and an end. A fantastic work on your behalf, as is also Dragonladys Odds And Ends cd.

I just came from Reykjavik and the flight to Reykjavik was a difficult one, heavy wind and the airplain fell like 8 times down in some kind of a airsocket, it was a 8 screamer flight as I call it. Me I was listening to your cd first and then Di´s disk while prepairing for the meeting and it worked perfectly for me because the music had my attention the whole time. And it made me wonder if there are there more Janis songs like this around, many I have not heard before, some I hear are recordings from vinyl ( love the scratch sound) and the arrangement on well known songs like Silly Habits and Fly to High instrumental are just phenominal.
