Huzzah! Huzzah!
The 3rd Anniversary is traditionally the Leather Anniversary. No doubt Dar will have some ideas for gifts, along with others. I've got a decent pair of Doc Marten's around here somewhere.
May the love just grow and grow--it shines on us all.

And a round of applause for Kathleen and Jo Ellen as well! The 19th is the Bronze anniversary....what to send, what to send (contemplates a roll of pennies and decides against it)?

Ain't love grand? My best to you both. Isn't it harder to write sad songs when you are in love? And Janis, who do you listen to when you just want to cry in your beer? Does it help when you listen to yourself? Does it annoy Pat when you hum "All Those Promises" when you get mad at each other?

Ponytail, as a duly-ordained minister of the Progressive Universal Life Church, I'll be ready and willing any time you need someone to officiate.
Can't be of much help with the idiots at the License Office, alas.
Is it already three years? Wow, time does fly...
I wish you a happy anniversary and many, many more good years together.

Thank you one and all!
We actually decided, once we got married, to continue observing "our" anniversary, December 4th. Because if we count from Dec. 4th, 1989, it's 17 years, which means more to us than the formal document.
But the way I see it, ALL congratulations are good, so again, thank you one and all!
ps Pat says Thank you too... but she's busy watching "V for Vendetta" and petting the dogs, so there you have it.

Well Janis, expect a load of congratulations on December 4th as well!
You're quite right of course: once the love and the commitment are there, you have a marriage. Though, apart from the legal conveniences, a more formal observance is a great excuse for a party.
Marjan? Write December 4th down in your book, will you? I'm terrible at remembering such things.

Janis, we will be congratulating you for ever...Not just for your birthdays/anniversaries and what-have-you, but your music too. I may have only recently come back to the fold, but I've always liked it and always will. lol

Happy anniversary!
My best wishes are a few days too late, but early enough for December 4th, I think.
Annette.
