Hopefully your'e watching my Vikings against the... mmmhmmmm.... Champion Steelers. It started out ugly, but I think my boys are showing some promise. Not sure what to think yet of the new uni's though.

Quite agree--it's going to be a while before I'm entirely sure which team is actually out there. Between the new names and the new uniforms there isn't much familiarity to be found on the field.
Am I the only one who is really bothered by the way some stations (ESPN seems to be a prime offender) have started broadcasting football games? With three or four "windows" on the TV screen at once, color commentators talk over each other while someone tries to conduct an utterly inane sideline interview and someone else puts up a stats chart, making it often difficult to tell that a game is actually in progress. A fair number of plays don't even make it onto the screen. I'm thinking of going back to radio. Or reading the newspaper the following day.
Redjack's behind it.....I just know it.

Well WF, The steelers were outplayed a few times, made idiot mistakes a few others.. Congrats to the Vikings on their win :)
I don't mind the color commentators with one exception, John Madden makes me crazy.. the man hasn't said a coherent thing in 5 years..

Why, thanks. Yet, it was only pre-season, and you know what they say about that. I really don't think we're in a place yet where we could beat the Steelers in regular season at Heinz Field. But, It did appear we may have improved enough to maybe take them at our house. The book's still out on our offense, but the defense (1st, 2nd, and 3rd teams) looks nice. Lots of penetration, and blitzing, I think we sacked every one of your QB's. Just keep Roethlisberger off the crotch-rockets, huh?:D
