what does a blue pin mean?

when i see a blue pin at the right top of a post , what does that mean . ? i see that im the only one that has replyed to this via contest rules . what am i missing , what does this mean ? should i not reply to blue pin posts? call me stupid but please someone answer . thanks

Oh wait... maybe the blue pin is the 'sticky'? It is a message that is marked by John so it will always be on top of the list of messages. Maybe that is what a blue pin means?
