sorry if i've been awol from the messageboard, just lots going on with my life, trying to adapt to NJ all over again -- and rebuilding your life from scratch.

I was so looking forward to go to the picnic this saturday, just can't swing it financially and don't have a car to get there :( I'll be thinking of you fun people. *sigh*

Hope everybody is doing well - interviewing with a couple firms in Philly for work - but it just sucks i have to start this crap all over again.

i officially am becoming a lesbian. men are scum. :)

Hear, hear, Chris--the sooner more men become lesbians, the sooner we'll have a far more balanced world.

I've got a spare pair of Birkenstocks you can borrow. As to hummus....you're on your own.

No no no!!! Men are not lesbians!
However much humus they eat and however they move in with their potential lovers after two weeks and however they stay friends for life with all their exes. Men are not lesbians!

Shoot. I didn't know Birkenstocks were a "lesbian" thing. I've been wearing them for years. Got any shoes that scream "gay!"?

Alternatively: if, in 20 years, I get married to my best friend (an arrangement we set up, of course), who I call a "part-time lesbian," does that make me a part-time lesbian, too? It would be a gay marriage, after all. :D In the arrangement, she and I are allowed to have significant others, of course. Wouldn't that make for interesting workplace conversations. "Chuck, I'm going to have to leave early. The wife's girlfriend is cooking dinner for me, my boyfriend, and the wife."

Doesn't lipsynching Dusty Springfield in front of the mirror count for anything?

BTW -- welcome back, Chris!:D
