The other night on The Daily Show, John Stewart’s guest, a linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles (I think) was creating poetry by going through a stack of books and reciting the titles. I decided to scan the various bookshelves in my house and see what I could come up with. Here are three “poems” from my bookshelves:
Women Who Run with the Wolves
Attracting Birds to Your Backyard
Earth, Air, Fire and Water
Living in the Lap of the Goddess
A Chosen Faith
The Great Crusade
Visions of Victory; For the Common Defense
Over Here; The Killing Ground
Fallen Soldiers; Silent Running
Our Country; Imperial Democracy
A Preponderance of Power
Ideology of the Offensive; March of Folly
The American Way of War
I'd be interested to see what other Rudies can come up with after scanning their bookshelves.
