The Hills Are On Fire

Every so often the heather and peat catch fire on the moors, but this year it has been particularly bad. The smoke has drifted for miles. I took some pictures but my hand was shaky and they came out wonky, but this one gives an idea of what it is like:

We had a bit on Wednesday night but it didn't put out the fires. The smoke has mixed with the humidity and it's not nice.
