I'm headed for a few weeks in Japan, and a few months in Europe, so I'm going to be on Skype a lot. The Lenovo SL400 camera isn't too great, so I thought I'd buy a combo webcam/microphone -- but I can't figure out which one! Anyone have a suggestion?

Look into something made by Logitech... they have a pretty good reputation...

I'd second the Logitech suggestion - they may not be flashy, but they quietly get on with the job, and do it well.
The boyfriend James and I both have this one Janis and we find it quite good.
