Something has changed on photobucket and now what used to be easy involves many steps. It used to be that under each picture in each album were the codes needed to post a photo on this board. Now you have to click on the picture but you still can't highlight the code. You have to click "share" then a box pops up and you have to click on the tab to get codes, then you can copy the code you want. This new pop up box says it's brought to you by Windows 7. Is everyone else experiencing this? Does it make any more sense on a windows machine than it does on a mac? Any one have any ideas on disabling this evidently new format? jm

I'm using Windows XP and all I have to do is to "hover" over the picture I want to post and it gives me the pop up with the links. I left click on the link and it is copied. (Instead of right clicking and selecting copy). I then left click where I want the link and right click paste. On the computer I'm using, the process is essentially the same as before.

I'm using my Mac laptop and when I hover over a pictures I still get the choices we had before and I just click on the direct link and it copies the info to paste.

Not crazy on the "new" look yet, but I guess I can get used to it.

I just checked it out, Joan. I'm using Windows 7. I found that I can hover over the picture, as before, then click in that box with the code. I found you don't HAVE TO use "share" or go to that page where the picture is enlarged. Once I clicked in the box with the code, I found it easier to just type control-a (what is it called these days on a Mac - command-a ?). That will highlight the code and I simply copy it to the clipboard (control-c). You know the rest.

Same thing with me running XP, and no "brought to you" skanky advertising!

I have XP,, just tried it. I always used 'share' for the different optional formats. Used 'thumbnail', doesn't work anymore like before.
> inserting by 'insert image' > won't show up correct!

Used 'full size' instead.

Here my 'full-size' ;):

'full-size' will be too large for most pics,, what to do to get 'thumbnail' ?????

Thanks everyone for the hints, I am able to eliminate a few steps...so as long as I'm messing around with Photobucket..here are a couple of updates to Sara's picture of me (taken on my birthday in 2008)...one on the beach (taken last week) and a new way to broadcast Learning Never Ends (picks on stool say Learning Never Ends...I gave them to the guitar students I taught last week in Nashville) jm
