need help in understanding

im most at ease with myself when i play my horn. when i listen to Janis im home.i know in talking to the choir but i feel at ease with myself as a result of being able to take it all in.if it were up to my mind and my mind only i would just play my sax.. sometimes just playing does not pay the bills. that i understand. for those of you that want to just play. its a hard world .i am in favor of anyone that wants to play and i want to help. and maybe i can help. i dont understand Why anyone would choose this life of not understanding. when its been my life for so long

It's simple, Mike--you're a musician and you make music. Without your sax I'll bet you'd feel as if you were missing a limb. Certainly when I sit down with my guitar it becomes a sort of meditation and I feel SOOOOO much better for the time I spend with it.
