Just read this http://www.nature.com/news/2006/060619/full/060619-5.html Just wondering because there is a similar "warning" here in Iceland. We are exspecting a big earthquake in the south part of the country over the next 5 years (they have been saying this for the last 25 years) There is also a volcano eruption warning in Katla over the next 2 years (they have been saying that for 15 years) and they have began showing advertisements on the tube on how to response to a volcano eruption when that happens.
Earthquakes are very common here and there has been an increase of them over the last few years.
