In the MCC thread somehow my post showed up twice. Well I can't delete it. I can't even go back and do any editing. We were able to edit old posts with the previous software because I use to go back and change outdated url's on some of the YouTube Videos. There seems to be a time limit on editing now. Unless I'm doing something wrong. Any thoughts?

I've noticed the same thing Barb. It seems you can go back and edit for about the first 24 hours. This is similar to other forums I'm on using this same software (but not the latest version which I think rocks!)

Yes, I've bumped up against the same thing. As Joan said, it does seem that we have a 24-hour window for editing/deleting posts. C'est la vie.

I discoverd the same problem the other day when I tried to upate the codes to some old images, Roady. So no, you're not doing anything wrong.

I haven't run into this, but then... I haven't needed to edit.

As I said in a previous thread, I am sure Steve is up to his ears and eyeballs getting ready to go live with the new site. I am sure once that's done, he will have more time to address issues with the message boards.

Until then, type carfully..... er....carefuli...I mean CAREFULLY!

:)

So I am now adding a post script in edit mode.....

You are what you post...

Seriously, folks. The webmaster charges by the hour, and Janis picks up the entire cost. Please do not bother Steve (or me. or Janis.) with requests to fix your posts, delete your posts, add to your posts, change your posts. Think about what you're going to write and write it, then review and review, and only [I]then[I], post!
I personally find something kinda nice about not being able to edit my past too heavily...

Oy! Elliott, Elliott, Elliott, quit bothering the staff! LOL

This reminds me of the time one of my family doctor’s patents asked him to pay off his mortgage for him. True story!

I confess it was me! I've run a website, what was I ever thinking? :o

Now I'll be so busy reviewing and reviewing it will time out before I hit send ......and I'll never send another post again.

Aw Roady, don't be nervous. I'm sure these little glitches will get sorted out in due time.

In the meanwhile, there's always this (http://janisian.com/forum/showthread.php?10058-Cooperative-Rudie-Contract&p=140527#post140527). LOL

Here ya go, Elliott. Simply spray your monitor with professional-strength hair spray, light a match and toss it in that general direction, and be prepared to run! ;)

That's easy my friend. Just reverse the battery in your watch so that time starts running backwards.
